David LittleDavid Little

(1948)

David Little was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 16, 1948. In 1967 he moved to San Francisco, California where he began his investigation of yoga and meditation, which ultimately brought him to the healing arts.

In 1969 David met his first teacher, Dr. Manning von Strahl, osteopath, chiropractor, acupuncturist, hypnotist and homoeopath. Dr. Stahl was a master Mesmerist, who at the end of his life was capable of spiritually healing those present and at a great distance.

Manning was an elderly gentleman who was in the early consciousness movement in Los Angeles. He was a close friend of Aldous Huxley as well as student and physician of Paramahansa Yogananada. Dr. Stahl traveled widely in the Orient and Europe in the 1930s and 1940s.

David was a student of Manning's until he left for his Heavenly Abode in the early 1970s. These were David's formative years when his principal teacher placed him on the path he is still following today. Besides Homoeopathy, David is also well known for his pioneering work in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and the manual arts.

After Manning's death David moved to Maui, Hawaii, in 1973 and in 1978 he journeyed to India to study yoga and Homoeopathy. Since that time David has been running free clinics in India and continuing his research of metaphysics.

In 1983 he took up the practice of Hahnemann's advanced methods and began his experiments with the medicinal solution of the C and LM potency. He was a colleague of the late, great Doctor M. H. Choudhury, who was a grand protagonist of the LM potency with thirty years of experience.

David is considered a leading authority on the theory and practice of the LM potency and his work has inspired research in these methods around the world.

He has undertaken an in depth review of the microfiches of Hahnemann's Paris Casebooks and has helped stimulate homoeopaths to study the original works of Hahnemann, Hering, Boenninghausen, Kent and others.

It is his firm belief that every practitioner should have a solid foundation in the classic literature as well as studying the best of contemporary Homoeopathy.

David's website offers comprehensive material on homoeopathic practice and the LM potency and he has been leading an advanced class on the internet for the last four years. He just recently completed The Homoeopathic Compendium, "Volume I, Clinical Practice", and "Volume 2, Constitution, Temperament and Miasms".

This 2,500 page treatise emphasizes Hahnemann's 6th Organon and The Chronic Diseases and contains considerable original information from the Paris Casebooks.

David has written numerous articles for The American Homoeopath and Simillimum and his writings have been translated into Spanish, French, Finnish, Polish, Russian and other languages. Visit David's website at www.simillimum.com.
